The teaching teams have introduced the bears to the students, and everyone has personalized them with a range of necklaces, anklets, bracelets, bows, ribbons, capes and other imaginative ideas. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for making this possible! \r\nWe have already begun to see the joy and connection students are forming as they name their bears, play and bond. For example, on decorating day in one class, a student (who had hurt their finger earlier) showed their bear the Band-Aid they had and then asked for and gave the bear a hug. We could \"see\" the connection forming, and the potential for us to both witness and help the connections go further. \r\nThanks to each of you again for supporting our dream to help our students value their own feelings, and to build skills to connect with caregivers, friends and families. We also are supporting families to learn about the power of feelings, attachment, positive relationships and encouragement--which helps everyone grow!","fullyFundedDate":1745347264448,"projectUrl":"project/teddy-bears-for-preschoolers/9221991/","projectTitle":"Teddy Bears for Preschoolers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Stephanie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9989235_orig.jpg?crop=441,441,x21,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1743535314652","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9989235"},{"teacherId":9913596,"projectId":9263991,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our Pre-K classroom has become a truly magical place for our students to explore, learn, and rest. This inviting space has made reading time something they eagerly anticipate each day, fostering a deep love of literature and supporting their social-emotional growth.\r\n\r\nThe magic extends into nap time as well, turning it into a peaceful, comforting experience. The cozy seating and pillows create a calming environment where students can rest and recharge, helping them stay energized and ready for more learning and play. The addition of the dry erase board has transformed the way we engage with early literacy, math concepts, and letter formation. It has quickly become a favorite classroom tool, allowing students to participate more actively in lessons through hands-on, visual learning. One of our most memorable moments was watching students take turns proudly writing letters on the board and cheering each other on. The board has made learning feel more like play-and that has made a world of difference.\r\n\r\nWhen the board first arrived, the excitement was contagious. Students were instantly drawn to it, eager to try it out, and many have said it's their favorite part of the classroom. The board has not only enhanced participation but also helped create a warmer, more interactive learning environment. As we move forward, we plan to use it for group storytelling, number games, and name-writing practice. Thank you for helping us bring such a valuable resource into our classroom.
