Your contributions enabled me to receive some fantastic classroom lesson manipulatives to aid my students in their learning. My students all have different learning styles. By addressing each of the various methods of learning, I know that I am making every effort to ensure that every child understands the concept being taught and increases their knowledge base. The use of visual aids is especially helpful to my English Language Learners, as they are at varying stages in their English language comprehension development. The visuals help increase their English vocabulary by connecting them with the English word for each visual. \r\nMy first grade students were so excited when they entered my class and saw the feltboard set up for the beginning of our fairy tale unit. They all wanted to be part of putting the pieces on the board. They each were given a piece to put up at a certain point in the tale. They were required to listen carefully to the tale in order to know when their piece needed to be put up. The feltboard and Goldilocks set really brought the fairy tale to life for the class. They loved it! My ELLs were also actively engaged.","fullyFundedDate":1730572221980,"projectUrl":"project/interactive-story-experience/8909581/","projectTitle":"Interactive Story Experience","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sullivan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9819633"},{"teacherId":3740850,"projectId":8872611,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supplying my classroom with STEM activities. The children were showing each other their Wonder elves and snowmen and spent the afternoon coloring and having fun together. \r\nThese are the types of projects children remember most in school.
