Your support is truly making a meaningful difference in the lives of our girls. Thanks to you, they've been able to experience the calming and soothing benefits of the fidgets and sensory tools just as I had hoped.\r\n\r\nWhile I don't have photos to show this, please know that your donations have had a real and lasting impact and is day to day. Initially, the girls were genuinely excited to see the new fidgets and calming tools thoughtfully placed throughout my office such as on my desk, by the windowsill, in the quiet corner, and near the closet. I shared with them that my focus goes beyond their academic success; our time together is meant to nurture their whole well-being, build emotional resilience, and equip them with tools to navigate challenges with confidence.\r\n\r\nDuring both individual and group sessions, the girls have found these tools incredibly helpful and continue to find them so. They are learning to use them with intentionality whether it's to stay focused, relax their minds, or self-regulate during moments of distress. What's more inspiring is witnessing their growing sense of responsibility. For instance , when borrowing fidgets for class, they now track their names, the date, name of fidget/tool they use and their return, reinforcing accountability and independence. This simple habit helps them recognize that they have the power to control their emotions and take ownership of their growth rather than waiting on others to manage them for them. \r\n\r\nAlthough this is just the beginning, I'm hoping that the work I do with them will motivate them to be their best self during moments of glows even moments of grows. Your belief in the work we do as school counselors including being tasked with providing socio-emotional development skills means so much. Thank you for being such a significant part of this journey.
