My students and I have already put the mini whiteboards, markers, binders, and bins to use. The whiteboards have become an essential tool during lessons—students now solve problems in real time, share their thinking, and revise their work without fear of making mistakes. One of my favorite moments was during a recent lesson when students worked out challenging problems on their whiteboards and were able to explain their reasoning through thoughtful discussion and collaboration. When the students first saw the materials, they were genuinely excited and eager to use them. It has made them feel more prepared and motivated to participate.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will continue to support our current units by allowing students to practice skills, receive immediate feedback, and stay organized throughout longer projects. The binders and bins are helping students take ownership of their work, while the whiteboards encourage active engagement every single day. Your generosity has made our classroom a more confident, organized, and collaborative learning environment, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1758899275739,"projectUrl":"project/school-supply-essentials/9482547/","projectTitle":"School Supply Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Simkhayeva","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9749263_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x0,y408&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1785096596142","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9749263"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_5937","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":399,"numTeachers":31,"percentFrplEligible":82,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":58,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":31,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":1,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"12.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":56.9,"schoolId":5937,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Urban Assembly Law & Justice on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Urban Assembly Law & Justice","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/urban-assembly-law-justice/5937"}
