Using these resources, groups researched a planet, built a scaled model, and then used the projector to place their planet within the full solar system. This visual setup helped them understand how the planets relate to one another—distances, sizes, and orbits became much easier to grasp when they could see it all laid out before them.\r\n\r\nNext, we're continuing this work by having students create their own visual \"space tours.\" Each group will design a short presentation that uses diagrams, labeled images, and their physical planet model to guide viewers through their part of the solar system. The projector will help them display their illustrations alongside the model so they can clearly show how their planet fits into the larger system.
