Students solve problems on their whiteboards and share their thinking, which keeps them engaged and actively involved in learning. Our ENL students are also using the books during small-group instruction and taking them home to continue reading with their families. In addition, I use the Mr. Sketch markers to create clear and colorful anchor charts for both reading and math, which students regularly refer to during lessons.\r\n\r\nStudents were very excited when they first saw the materials. They were eager to use the whiteboards and markers, and ENL students were especially happy to receive books they could take home. The colorful anchor charts also caught their attention and helped make learning more accessible and engaging.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue using the whiteboards to solve more complex math problems and explain their strategies. ENL students will continue taking the books home to build reading confidence, vocabulary, and comprehension. I will also continue creating anchor charts for reading and math to reinforce key skills and support independent learning.","fullyFundedDate":1758899011894,"projectUrl":"project/my-first-classroom-their-first-big-step/9445211/","projectTitle":"My First Classroom, Their First Big Steps!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Akther","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9691465_orig.jpg?crop=3909,3909,x185,y984&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751578738326","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9691465"},{"teacherId":9881517,"projectId":9051079,"letterContent":"I wanted to take a moment to share the impact your generous donation has had on my classroom.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students now have access to snack and learning materials.
