We are using the new resources daily during learning centers, small-group instruction, and independent practice. One of my favorite moments was watching students rotate through centers using the materials to build letters, practice early reading skills, and solve hands-on math tasks. Students who usually need extra encouragement were eager to participate because the activities felt like \"play\".\r\n\r\nWhen the resources first arrived, my students were beyond excited. They were amazed to see the new materials and kept asking, \"Is this really for us?\" Their faces lit up as they explored everything and instantly wanted to start using them. It was such a special moment to see them feel valued and supported like someone outside of our classroom truly cared about their learning. The excitement was not just for one day; it has continued as students discover new ways to use the materials and build confidence in their abilities.\r\nNext, we are using these resources to strengthen our current lessons and build deeper student understanding. Students are continuing to practice core skills like letter sounds, phonics, counting, number relationships, and writing in fun and meaningful ways. As we move forward, they will use these materials to complete more independent tasks, small-group projects, and collaborative activities—helping them grow academically while also building responsibility, communication, and teamwork skills. Thank you again for helping make learning feel magical. Your support has made a real difference in my students' success, confidence, and joy in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758830769203,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarten-magic-where-learning-begin/9633783/","projectTitle":"Kindergarten Magic: Where Learning Begins","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Clark","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9431787"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_614","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":218,"numTeachers":18,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":68,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":22,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":55.2,"schoolId":614,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Dr Jacqueline Peek - Davis School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Dr Jacqueline Peek - Davis School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/ps-12/614"}
