Many couldn't believe they'd get to learn such a unique sport, and their enthusiasm has only grown as they've practiced footwork, learned basic fencing techniques, and participated in friendly bouts.\r\n\r\nOne standout moment was with a student who initially struggled to grasp the rules of fencing, specifically the concept of right of way. Instead of getting discouraged, she observed closely, asked questions, and kept trying. Over time, her understanding deepened, and she not only mastered right of way but also volunteered to help me referee practice bouts.
