My students have benefited greatly from the social skills and emotional support tools I received. The Legos and fidgets were a big hit and allowed students to use their hands to help soothe them as they talked about emotional issues. The social games really allowed the students to relax and get to know one another in a less intensive and stressful way. As a school social worker, it was incredible to have more resources and decor fill my office to make the environment a warm and welcoming place. The emotions wheel wall hanger is both beautiful decor and a practical tool to help the students identify and build their emotional awareness. \r\nThank you again from the bottom of my counseling heart for donating all of these items!","fullyFundedDate":1729713158757,"projectUrl":"project/mental-health-and-wellness-supplies-for/8893923/","projectTitle":"Mental Health and Wellness Supplies for a School Social Worker","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rogan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9440854"},{"teacherId":9814437,"projectId":8900220,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous gifts. My students have been loving their new games, art supplies and snacks! Though they are our oldest cohort and poised to transition into adulthood, they are in just as much need of socioemotional support as our underclassmen. Between college and career planning and the emotionally-charged environment of their final year together, the students are in dire need of a space to decompress.\r\n\r\nThe generous donation granted to our project has supported this effort to bring joy and relaxation to our Seniors. They loved disconnecting from their devices and spending time together building lego sets and coming up with their own creations.
