One student reported that he cried three times! We weren't expecting that and asked him which parts, wondering if he was joking, and he named the three parts right away and seemed quite emotional. \r\n\r\nBefore the show, we played the Shakespearean insults game and students got a kick out of exploring the strange vocabulary. They enjoyed the snacks quite a bit too, of course.\r\n\r\nThe time leading up to the show ended up being a bit hectic because the Bryant Park staff wasn't sure where the play would be, and we sat to play games and snack in what turned out to be the wrong spot—so that was our only hiccup! Students appreciate being able to bring a cup back to their classroom, and teachers are also happy not to have lessons interrupted if a student needs to ask for a cup. Since we only have one water fountain for the floor, this also helps cut down on students gathering there for long periods of time. It's helping students stay hydrated for the day at school, and the eco-friendly cups mean we don't have to feel too bad about the environmental impact, either. My classroom closet is serving a lot of needs, and I fear that the value camera and photoshoot equipment we purchased would go missing if there were not an organization solution for storing all of it, so this has been very helpful.\r\n\r\nMy students have loved taking on the role of documentarian and fashion photographer at various moments.
