The fidget toys provide students with helpful tools to manage stress, improve focus, and regulate emotions during therapy sessions. One student in particular shared that the octopus fidget spinner was his new favorite in my room, and while playing with it, he opened up about a trauma we had not previously discussed.\r\n\r\nThe books on trauma and suicide are equally invaluable, offering our students deeper insight into what they have and are currently experiencing.
