Your support has had an immediate and meaningful impact; students now have access to stories and topics that truly capture their interests and reading abilities. This not only supports literacy development but also helps build confidence and a genuine love for reading.\r\n\r\nThanks to your contribution, we've launched an exciting reading challenge that encourages students to read independently outside the classroom. The energy and enthusiasm around reading have grown tremendously, and more students are choosing to read during their free time. Your generosity has not only filled our shelves but has also helped spark a culture of reading that we hope will last a lifetime.","fullyFundedDate":1751214063123,"projectUrl":"project/ms-vs-reading-challenge/9434826/","projectTitle":"Ms. V's Reading Challenge","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Vozza","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10038828"},{"teacherId":10038828,"projectId":9365274,"letterContent":"On behalf of our entire classroom community, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of materials. The collaborative tools you've provided have encouraged teamwork and active engagement, helping us foster a positive, respectful, and productive atmosphere.\r\n\r\nThe students are absolutely loving the new materials! From interactive supplies to creative tools that enhance hands-on learning, their excitement is evident every day. The children have had a chance to develop problem solving skills and have learned to develop their engineering skills through \"hands on\" experiences. The Junior Engineer Building kit helped the children create simple machines and encouraged them to learn about pull and push reactions. \r\n\r\nThey also loved using their Picasso Tiles Magnetic Race Track Toys Car Track Set and got so excited when they made their magnetic cars move. The best part was watching the whole class trying to figure out how to build the track.\r\n\r\n It was great watching the students work together. Through these activities the children developed language skills and showed each other through modeling how to put things together. The multi sensory activities let them develop their creativity. The Instruction provided opportunities for critical thinking and provided a safe and fun environment. Your materials and funding allowed students from different backgrounds and cultures to work together in the classroom and share their ideas. These diverse peer partnerships foster a growth mindset that improved understanding. Their enthusiasm increased their engagement during the learning day. It was also great to see such young minds develop their engineering strategies as kindergartners. As soon as I brought the box into class, my students asked, \"What's in the box Mrs. Bisceglia?\" They were so eager to find out what was inside. I explained that through the generosity and kindness of others we were gifted with building blocks and coins to support our math learning. Once I opened the box, the joy and excitement filled that classroom!\r\n\r\nSince opening our package the students have had endless days of building skyscrapers and engineering designs of their own creation. It has also given my students sunshine on a rainy day as this has become a new favorite for indoor recess. \r\n\r\nFurthermore, my students have enjoyed using the coins to support our math instruction. We now have students running to get a place to sit right up in front. \r\n\r\nThe jars have been a huge hit!! The students are working so hard to fill their individual jar with tickets to win a prize. The jar allows for the students so see how well they are doing during the week.
