We haven't built them yet, but we're planning to assemble them in the spring when we begin our planting unit. Students will start seedlings in the classroom and then transfer them to the outdoor beds as the weather warms up.\r\n\r\nEven before construction begins, excitement is already growing! Students have been discussing what vegetables, herbs, and flowers they'd like to plant and exploring how gardening connects to science, engineering, and sustainability. These garden beds will give them a real-world way to apply what they're learning by observing growth, collecting data, and working together to care for living things.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has planted the seeds for curiosity, collaboration, and environmental stewardship.
