They listen to the music for a bit then they will place the Tonie character with the story on to the box and start enjoying the story. My students have become independent and are always happy to help one another. It's wonderful to see them take turns and work together. \r\n\r\nI love to see the smiles on their faces and hear their giggles while reading with their friends. The kids were so excited to each have their own ABC flip board during play center time (rather than having to share!). \r\n\r\nAdding another treehouse set to the rug allowed kids to be more creative in how they used the pieces (building larger creations, more options of branches). \r\n\r\nThe number bots helped the kids work on fine motor skills as well as number recognition. \r\n\r\nWe used the scoops a lot during our fine motor time. The kids were so excited and appreciative to have these wonderful new math and literacy toys to play with during our learning center and play center times. \r\n\r\nThe ladybug counters were a great addition to our Bugs & Butterflies Study! The kids practiced identifying numbers, matching shapes, and practicing writing numbers & shapes too! \r\n\r\nWe are currently in our buildings study, and the drills have been a huge hit! We now have enough for 4 kids to play at one time. They have been working on fine motor skills, making patterns and designs. They are so proud when they show us what they have created! We have also put out the Nuts About Counting set during this study. The kids again are working on fine motor, number recognition, and counting. \r\n\r\nThe counting owls have been used during learning centers as well.
