Students often arrive dysregulated, upset, or overwhelmed, but after spending time in this room, they leave calmer, more grounded, and better able to participate in their classroom routines.\r\n\r\nThis sensory room is especially important in our low-income NYC public school, where many families don't have access to therapy equipment or sensory supports at home.
