As soon as we opened the boxes, I saw wide eyes, big smiles, and eager hands reaching to explore. One student immediately began using the visuals to make a choice for the very first time that day—an incredible moment that showed just how impactful your generosity would be for our classroom.\r\n\r\nSince then, these resources have become essential tools in helping my students express themselves, participate in lessons, and build independence. Whether they are using picture supports to communicate their needs, engaging with hands-on materials during sensory-friendly centers, or responding to prompts with new adaptive tools, your donation has given them meaningful access to learning. I've noticed students staying engaged longer, initiating communication more often, and showing pride in their ability to take part in activities alongside their peers.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, these materials will allow us to expand our communication work even further. We're beginning a project in which students will use the new resources to make choices, share preferences, and participate in group routines in ways that were not previously possible. Your support has opened doors for students who rely on alternative ways to connect with the world, and I cannot thank you enough for believing in their voices. Your generosity is making a daily difference in their confidence, independence, and joy.","fullyFundedDate":1755740783014,"projectUrl":"project/support-for-every-type-of-learner/9457602/","projectTitle":"Support for Every Type of Learner","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Terribile","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9697791_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752805474464","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9697791"},{"teacherId":7571297,"projectId":9699967,"letterContent":"Thank you for donating to my school. We are a special education school in district 75 that has a lot of brand new kindergartners. The more resources I have the better I can accommodate my students. The hands and feet I started using with a tossing unit. The kids are aligning their feet up just like the picture of the feet and staying there compared to circles I used. \r\nThe other piece of equipment that I used already is the big scooter. I didn't realize that they connected to each other and other scooters I have, Which is great because I can have the students sit back to back. Also having a bigger scooter with help the bigger students get on and off easier. \r\nThank you again for the donations.
