The kids were super excited to see the fun erasers and new math game. I told them another games is on the way as well. We talked about making math fun and using write erase markers on the the new pocket holders (they love love love using write erase markers on things!). Funny how cute fluffy erasers made us all smile. \r\n\r\nThe excitement for new supplies and fun math was over the top with these kids as they were so supprised that you all did this just for them.\r\n\r\nThank you from the bottom of my heart. They have used all of the items during indoor recess so far. One highlight I can share is the fun they had with the building straws. One of the days they built a huge circle that they called a crown. They had people go inside the circle to wear the crown. Even I went inside the circle to wear the crown. Another day they had the straws connected so long they wanted to see if it reached the length of the room. When they saw it was even longer than the length they tried stretching it diagonally from corner to corner. It was a perfect length for that experiment. The legos, magnet blocks, and dominos have all been hits with my students. They put the sunflower Lego kit together and went to the cupboard to find a mug to use as a vase. The flowers are still in the mug on the counter today. We have also used the scenario cards as part of our morning routine. Thank you again for being so generous.","fullyFundedDate":1769191990501,"projectUrl":"project/a-mulitude-of-items-helps-the-new-kids-o/9938232/","projectTitle":"A Mulitude of Items Helps the New Kids Out","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Brinckerhoff","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10365346"},{"teacherId":6684288,"projectId":9432361,"letterContent":"What an honor it has been to have a completed project! \r\n\r\nThe light covers that arrived have been a great upgrade to the lighting in our classroom. Not only do they tie into our science curriculum beautifully, but they also help to add a really special ambiance and comforting feel to the room.\r\n\r\nThe new binder holders are working to create a more organized environment for our students to navigate. We now have a set place for our math curriculum that allows for ease of access.\r\n\r\nAgain, I can't thank you enough for your generosity. My students were so excited to receive the packages. When we opened them, they were colorful and really child friendly. They could hardly believe that people they didn't know cared enough to share the wiggle seats, fidgets, and headphones with us.\r\n\r\nI really appreciated the donation because it allows me to have a pool of movement friendly options for my students to choose from. Instead of 1 or 2 students benefiting from my small supply, I now have enough that any student can choose something that will help him or her. This really takes away any stigma to using a wiggle seat, fidget or headphones. The kids love the option of being able to choose what they need. One of my little girls who didn't necessarily \"have to\" have headphones found that they really helped her focus and get work done. Without this project, she may not have had the opportunity to try them.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping me fulfill my first Donors Choose project. I will definitely be using Donors Choose again this year.","fullyFundedDate":1746890199286,"projectUrl":"project/first-graders-focus-help-us-get-wiggle/9261277/","projectTitle":"First Graders Focus!
