Because of your contributions, this previously disused and dusty space is on its way to becoming a modern, vibrant resource for our students and teachers.\r\n\r\n With the wonderful books, rugs, and floor seats you funded, we've already begun creating a welcoming space where students feel encouraged to explore and learn. The new books are sparking excitement, and the comfortable seating options are making the library an inviting place to relax and discover new stories.\r\n\r\n But that's not all—we're thrilled to announce that we've also received a $3,500 Plateau Grant to further overhaul the library! With this grant, coupled with the support you have given, we are taking big steps to modernize and enhance the library's functionality. By the end of the school year, we plan to:\t\r\n\r\n• Paint and refresh the shelves to create a bright and engaging environment.\r\n• Categorize and catalog the collection using a dedicated Libib laptop and subscription, so books are easier to find for both students and teachers.\r\n• Add digital resources by purchasing four iPads for students to access digital books on platforms like TumbleBooks.\r\n\r\n While there's still work to do, your support has been the foundation of this transformation. You've given us the opportunity to create a library that will truly serve the diverse and vibrant needs of our school community for years to come.\r\n\r\n On behalf of the students, teachers, and families at the Alvis Library, thank you for believing in this project and helping us bring it to life.
