The smaller basketballs have been especially great for the younger students. They want to practice their shoots too, but those regular sized basketballs are just too heavy. \r\n\r\nWith my delay in posting about the impact I can say that the balls have lasted us through a second year and likely won't have to be replaced until 2026. Basketball continues to be one of the most poplar activities during recess. It has been a great incentive and the students have been following the rules and expectations associated with it. IT comes out every Friday for fun Fridays and on special occasions. \r\n\r\nWith my delay in sending this response I can confirm that it the excitement persists a year later. The students are always volunteering to help set i tup and organize it. It has given us a chance to run 8 player races wirelessly with the other switches we already used. The esports club was a fun addition to our after school programming for students. \r\n\r\nWe are expanding our esports to include time in our weekly genius hour activities. Esports is is one of the choices students can choose for their genius hour which occurs once a week on Fridays.
