With your support, I've been able to bring exciting, gamified lessons into my classroom that have truly energized my students' learning. The interactive activities have made our lessons more engaging and fun, sparking curiosity and participation every day.\r\n I've also discovered resources with translated notes, which have been invaluable for my multilingual learners. These materials have helped all my students feel included and supported, making our classroom a more welcoming place for everyone.\r\n Additionally, your gift has allowed me to create fun and meaningful sub plans, so my students continue to enjoy high-quality learning experiences even when I'm away for professional development. I am deeply grateful for your belief in my teaching and your investment in our classroom. Your generosity inspires me to help every student reach their full potential. They have greatly helped me to connect with my students, especially those who speak languages other than English. At the beginning of the school year, I introduced one of the devices to a student who often helps her friend understand math concepts. When I explained that I could use the device to assist her friend directly, her face lit up with relief. She realized that the responsibility of translating no longer rested solely on her shoulders—I could now step in and support her friend, allowing her to put her learning first without her friend losing out.\r\n During instruction, especially in my classes with many English language learners. I am able to use them to translate explanations and directions in real time, making lessons more accessible and engaging for everyone. Additionally, I have used the devices to translate notes and documents, ensuring that all students and their families receive clear and accurate information about assignments, classroom expectations, and school events.\r\n Beyond facilitating classroom conversations, the translation devices have allowed me to translate important documents and to communicate with families, and ensure that every student feels included and supported. Your donation has made a real difference in our learning environment, helping to break down language barriers and foster a sense of belonging for all. We have been using them at the beginning of class so that students can learn new vocabulary and grammar that suits their needs. The books are designed to be self-paced and learners can pick the topic they wish to study. For instance, a beginner can choose to work on how to introduce oneself and ask another person basic questions or greet them. A more advanced student is able to choose a more difficult topic such as expressing an opinion or learning vocabulary related to household tools. Since you have generously donated levels 1 and 2 of the workbooks, learners are able to use the level that is differentiated to their abilities. Students enjoy having a say in their learning and this motivates them to keep going. \r\n\r\nThe students also appreciate that the workbooks are geared towards Spanish speakers and provide some explanations in Spanish. This makes it easier for students to understand more complex grammar points because they can see examples in their language. The books also have colorful visuals, which help with comprehension and keeping students interested. Many materials that we use in schools come from photocopies and thus the visual aspects are lost. One of my students was so happy to have these workbooks that she took a picture of them and sent it to her mom so that her mom could also get herself a copy for home and learn more English as an adult! The students were very appreciative that someone thought of them and their goals! They have sparked engaging discussions among my students, encouraging them to explore the relevance and applications of math in various fields. In particular, the \"Invisible Math\" posters have been an excellent resource for helping students with algebra skills that need reinforcement. I frequently refer to these visual aids during lessons.\r\n\r\nThe \"Math Teacher's Toolkit\" book has been a valuable addition to my professional resources.
