I am able to write in different colors and use my new shaggy erasers. The room is large with blank walls and this pops out and helps people see it when they walk in.\r\nLast, I did a project based on topics in the manual with all my classes and hung up their work and art. My plan is to laminate them when I take them down so I can show them to my next classes as examples and they don't get ruined in the process. We have used the balances many times already, and students are able to work in groups of no more than three students which greatly increases engagement and access for all of my students. My (and my students') favorite days are the days students are engaged fully in hands-on chemistry labs, carrying out inquiry investigations and collecting data for labs such as our Metals, Nonmetals and Metalloids lab, Isotopes of Pennium, Flame Test lab, Chemistry in a Bag lab, and the Half-life radioactive dice lab, to name a few that we have completed so far this year with many more to come! These scales allow my students to really \"do\" science; their self-confidence, collaboration and communication skills, creativity and ability to use authentic data to construct rigorous scientific arguments, have all increased.
