Through your generous donations my students were able to read the books and work on the puzzle all featuring animals and their amazing contributions to humans. You have really helped make my student's lives and those of the animals in our community better. \r\nStudents who choose to not go into the cafeteria for lunch, for various reasons, such as religious fasting, noise level, will come to my classroom and sit to read one of the animal welfare books. If more than one student is reading the same book, they will take turns to read out loud and share the book. This promotes reading, animal welfare and sharing. That's a win, win, win . Sometimes they will take turns working on the puzzle and reading the books. Puzzles teach logic, patience, and cognitive thinking which is invaluable in this world as these young adults learn and grow.\r\nOur community recently had a bear spotted in a tree and several students were explaining to others why baby bears climb trees, how to handle the situation and that this is a living creature that needs our care and support. \r\nYou, as donors , helped support this project.
