The vibrant colors also made them exciting and appealing to the students, further encouraging engagement. The look of excitement when my students saw the new hopscotch rug rolled out in front of the room was nothing short of amazing! Each of the students gets to use the hopscotch board each time they come in or leave the room. Students from other classes walking by in the hallway use this as a little movement break as well-It is a hit!\r\n\r\nMy students are also thrilled to have been able to select their choice of color for Play-doh and have their name written on it. New, and brightly colored items are always special for my students. They use the Play-Doh to strengthen their hands, and also times in the day when they need to decompress when they are feeling overstimulated and overwhelmed. They love being able to explore the texture and use all of the Play-doh accessories to create different objects.
