These stools are super sturdy and provide a terrific spot for students to gather when they are working with me or a partner. \r\n\r\nI love when I see my students' faces light up when they get to sit in the \"cool seats!\" They love coming to the back table to work with me and enjoy how they get to collaborate on their work. \r\n\r\nWe will use these stools throughout the year for math games, reading groups, and writing partners! We have a writing celebration coming up, and I know they are going to want to sit at the back table and share their work!\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generous contribution to our classroom! It is the perfect addition to our classroom. It fits perfectly in front of my Smartboard, creating the ideal spot for our morning meetings and mini-lessons. The students also love to read with a partner on the carpet - it makes a cozy, comfortable place for them to learn!\r\n\r\nWhen they came into the classroom, the students were very excited! One girl exclaimed, \"It looks like my carpet at home!\" They instantly started taking ownership of it, treating it like it was their own! My first graders make sure they don't have dirt on their sneakers before they come to the rug, and they even take turns using our carpet sweeper! \r\n\r\nWe look forward to using the carpet for many lessons! We will create a bear's den in the winter on the carpet when we learn about animal habitats.
