The fidget toys and molding clay have helped my students immensely. During my grief support group for students who have lost a parent, the students rely on these items as support as they share their experiences. Just this morning a student arrived who is adjusting to a mental health diagnosis and immediately asked for fidgets to help them with their emotional regulation. They were able to take these into the classroom and not miss instruction.\r\n\r\nThe food you provided helped so many of my students who I know at times have struggled with food insecurity and were so appreciative of having a snack to sustain them through their day. Sometimes that little bit of energy is what they need to come down from an emotionally difficult period and these items have helped so much. \r\n\r\nThe soccer and basketball are vital to my positive behavior sports groups I run for my male students. They have access to 30 minutes of soccer or football every two weeks if they have maintained good behavior and without access to these athletic materials the groups would not be possible. I truly cannot thank you enough for your generosity. Our community struggles having a number of community activities and sports at the youth level due to lack of volunteers and funding so school is their opportunity to play sports as well as seek support for various things in school. School is their safe place and thanks to you they are so excited to come to the counseling office and know they have access to unique and fun coping strategies.\r\n\r\nWithout people like you, educators across the country would have so few items to help their students. This donors choose experience was the best I have ever had in terms of receiving support in my position. I will forever be grateful for your support and so are my students.
