The Multiple Disabilities classroom is able to participate in Unified Esports activities twice a week, ranging across a few carefully selected game titles on the Nintendo Switch (utilizing our new Switch Pro controller) and Xbox (which will utilize the Xbox Series X). Students have started the school year by continuing to work on their social skills, collaborative skills, teamwork, and hand-eye coordinating through playing Mario Kart. We will also be trying new games, such as Switch Sports and Nintendo World Championships.\r\n\r\nThe Multiple Language Learners classroom has also been able to take part in these activities this year (new program). The MLL students will be working with their gen ed peers to practice their English Language skills, using multiple video games and the vehicle for conversations.
