Thanks to items like Command strips and mounting tabs, I have hung up posters on class materials, SEL strategies, and classroom decor. Having these materials hung up creates a more welcoming environment and my students have additional visual aids to help with learning. One of my favorite ways I am using my mounting tabs is for my Musician of the Month display. Every month, a student is recognized for their hard work and their name is displayed on our classroom wall. The mounting tabs have allowed me to easily hang my bulletin board letters, month signs, and stars with student names on them. It brings me, my colleagues and my students joy to look up and see them be recognized.\r\n\r\nOne item that my students were particularly excited for was the whiteboards. While we haven't begun our unit on the staff to use the treble clef side, students have enjoyed using the other side of the whiteboard as a blank canvas for creativity. It has been used for activities like drawing and practicing spelling. I'm excited to enter our treble staff unit so we can make the most out of the whiteboards.\r\n\r\nI'm looking forward to using more materials for my project as we enter our unit on rhythm. I plan on using the whiteboards for students to compose their own rhythms and add up beats. One lesson I'm excited for is our \"Pumpkin Patch Rhythm Match.\" In this activity, students will match rhythmic notation to their syllables. These will be written on papers designed like pumpkins, which will then be laminated using the laminated pouches I received. The pouches will also be used to display posters and signage of instructional materials over the year as we can continue to explore new topics.\r\n\r\nI want to again express my sincerest thanks for this contribution to my classroom. I feel confident, knowing that I have the supplies I need to provide my students and colleagues with a safe, effective, and comfortable learning environment.","fullyFundedDate":1753888648528,"projectUrl":"project/be-a-piece-of-adaptive-music/9506104/","projectTitle":"Be a Piece of Adaptive Music!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Selinger","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10096796_orig.jpg?crop=1536,1536,x0,y389&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753899032422","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10096796"},{"teacherId":6934928,"projectId":9591225,"letterContent":"When our new resources arrived, the excitement in the room was contagious. My students could hardly wait to explore, and the very first day we put them to use in a hands-on project. For example, during our morning routine students immediately engaged in deeper discussions and showed a new level of curiosity. \r\n\r\nThe impact has been clear: students are more motivated and confident, and they are collaborating in ways I hadn't seen before. These resources have turned everyday lessons into opportunities for discovery, and I've watched quieter students step up to share their ideas with the class. It's been inspiring to see their creativity and problem-solving skills grow in such a short time.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my students are eager to take on bigger challenges and I know these resources will continue to be the foundation for deeper learning. Thank you for giving my students the tools to dream bigger, think critically, and believe in their own potential. Your generosity has truly transformed our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1757517929888,"projectUrl":"project/manipulatives-and-snacks-for-students-in/9591225/","projectTitle":"Manipulatives and Snacks for Students in the Life Skills Program","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Servedio","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6934928_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755695830539","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6934928"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_82171","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":667,"numTeachers":112,"percentFrplEligible":54,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":29,"percentWhite":7,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":53,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"6.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":75.8,"schoolId":82171,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Franklin Middle School - Hamilton on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Franklin Middle School - Hamilton","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-jersey/franklin-township-public-school-district/franklin-middle-school/82171"}
