The table is adjustable so that students can work while standing at different heights. We have completed the first puzzle, and are starting a second. This has changed the atmosphere of our classroom by giving students some autonomy over their work. If they are done with an assignment, or have been working hard and just need a short break, they take themselves to the puzzle area and keep their brains warm while they decompress a bit. \r\n\r\nI think this entire project will continue to benefit students for years to come, and it has helped reduce classroom behavior problems significantly. The different materials have all served to benefit my students.\r\n\r\nSome of the basic materials, like staplers, tissues, and the pencil sharpener, have helped my classroom function in a smoother manner. Having several high quality staplers helps students get their work into their notebooks much faster. The tissues have especially been appreciated by the students. Schools tend to purchase tissues that are not necessarily nose-friendly. They have been so grateful for the high quality ones, especially during the upcoming cold season.\r\n\r\nThe books have also been enjoyed by many students. The chosen titles meet a varied range of interests and students have been excited to read them.\r\n\r\nWhat has probably been the biggest hit, however, are the literacy games. The chair pockets give students a safe place to store their chromebooks or binders when they are not being used. Now they won't get stepped on and are less likely to get broken! These tools really help students stay prepared and complete work in a timely manner. These tools really help students stay focused.
