Your gift of 25 chromebook chargers has made a big impact for my students. Often students, as teenagers, forget to charge their chromebooks or to bring their charger with them to school. While this may seem a simple issue that requires them to learn responsibility. I've found that teaching teenagers requires patience and that it really helps to keep my students engaged, if I have backup chargers in the room. Especially since, in this day and age, their primary way of engaging in the classroom is through their chromebooks. \r\n\r\nHowever, as a teacher with limited finances, I had become concerned about not only purchasing the chargers but also being able to replace them as they wear out, sometimes unpredictably. My first impulse had been to ask for help from our IT dept. and administration at our school. But teaching today is in the context of constant budget constraints and pressures to save money. It was then that my wife and I thought to ask for help from donors. \r\n\r\nYour gift has helped immensely to take pressure off myself and those of my students who struggle, as many teenagers do, to remain organized. It has really helped my classroom to have the resources needed to maintain continuity of learning and of participation for students. It also helped me to know that there are people out there who care about helping students with their education and care about the challenges teachers face today in the modern classroom. I am very grateful for your generous gift and the impressive speed with which I received your help last year. This year these chargers continue to make our classroom a more secure and efficiently run place for students to learn. Please know that your gift has provided valuable resources to over 100 students this school year alone.","fullyFundedDate":1745689608811,"projectUrl":"project/a-classroom-full-of-chromebook-chargers/9234936/","projectTitle":"A Classroom Full of Chromebook Chargers","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Gingras","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9991408_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1744375425303","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9991408"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_69221","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":340,"numTeachers":36,"percentFrplEligible":12,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":85,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"9.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":83.3,"schoolId":69221,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Campbell High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Campbell High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-hampshire/school-administrative-unit-27/campbell-high-school/69221"}
