The rocker chair provides rhythmic and calming rocking and bouncing movement to students who require more movement and self-soothing to tolerate the classroom, attend to their work and their teacher, and meet their sensory needs. The vibrating pillow is helpful for many students in my school's self-contained classroom who seek and benefit from deep pressure and deep tactile input that we can receive from vibration input. This pillow provides a safe, appropriate, and effective way for my students to meet those sensory needs during the school day and ultimately increase their regulation, attention, and engagement in the classroom.
