I do random acts of kindness for my class whether it is a surprise treat, activity, or giving them a new art or science item. All of the projects worked. We had a bubble maker, flying chairs, a solar powered sunflower, a Ferris wheel, a fiber optic lamp, a balancing robot, and a buzz wire game. Everyone did a different project, so they were able to experience many different engineering designs.\r\n\r\nOur Insect Lore butterfly pavilion was a huge success. We hatched our painted lady butterflies from caterpillars. Eight out of 10 formed correctly. We talked about why some may have had complications.
