The Sphero Ball is a programable robot (in the shape of a ball) that students use to learn coding. \r\n\r\nAlthough we have plans to integrate it into classrooms next semester, right now they are having an early impact with the new members of my robotics team. While the robot itself is being built, I have 7th and 10th graders learning Java for programing and they can use the two Sphero balls to practice with the code and see what their code is telling the robot to do.
