When I applied for my project I was beginning a new year in a new school and new program-I had nothing. The look my kids had when we got all of our new material was amazing. The excitement of having new things as a 4/5 year old is contagious! We are able to do more with playdoh and practice fine motor skills thanks to all the materials.\r\n\r\nOur program is based around literacy and the importance of learning to read and so many of the items you helped me acquire are wonderful for that! I felt so prepared for my station time after all my materials arrived. \r\n\r\nAnother item included in my project was some mail boxes and up until that arrived we just were using our desks creating a large mess. Now we are so organized! \r\n\r\nAgain thank you so much,","fullyFundedDate":1733344896454,"projectUrl":"project/mini-mustangs-literacy-fine-motor-soc/8794998/","projectTitle":"Mini Mustangs: Literacy, Fine Motor, Social Emotional Skils","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gilreath","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9754652"},{"teacherId":9830755,"projectId":8930623,"letterContent":"First all, thank you so much for funding my project! Although it was too late to start the literacy circles in the classroom this year, because it took the books a little longer to all get here; I am so excited to start them next year in my classroom! The students this year seem to really enjoy reading the books that were picked out because I put them in our classroom library for them to read because I knew implementing the literacy circles halfway through the year would be hard for us to do. \r\n\r\nNext year, the literacy circles will be dependent on the time we have allowed for a reading block, but I am really hopeful to start them and implement the circles. A lot of the themes of the books I chose will help the students with our counselor lessons that are being taught in the school. I still need to read the books because I let the students have first dibs on them, but we are learning about empathy and compassion in those lessons so reading books that exhibit those will really help, if there is some. \r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for funding this and choosing to help me teach our future leaders!","fullyFundedDate":1733180890936,"projectUrl":"project/literary-circle-books-for-our-classroom/8930623/","projectTitle":"Literary Circle Books for Our Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9830755_orig.jpg?crop=1242,1242,x0,y356&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755649185784","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9830755"},{"teacherId":9755444,"projectId":8796383,"letterContent":"Thank you for your contribution in creating a literacy rich classroom for my first grade students. The students have been so grateful and they've been very careful after their use and wrapping them up and putting them away appropriately.
