Yeah for your donation!! \r\nIt is so nice to be able to replace some of our old and broken instruments with new ones and to add to our instrument inventory.\r\nI teach at three low income schools and share resources among the three. My goal is to slowly have enough of the instruments we use on a regular basis at each school for multiple students to be able to play at the same time. \r\nThis time the instruments came just in time for us to use in our holiday programs so we were extra thankful. \r\nIt was so much fun to be able to add that extra instrumental parts to our holiday musicals bringing them to the next level. It also made my students so happy to be able to show their families what they could do and it made for happy families to see their kids up there having fun.\r\nThese instruments have also been making regular appearances in our classroom as we are learning about playing steady beats and rhythms. \r\nCheers to happy music making! My students also have gotten a chance to teach each other. Once they learn a part on a xylophone or glockenspiel, they then get to teach it to the next person. With our new glockenspiels more students get a chance to play and teach. These drums are pretty amazing and so easy for students to use. They are a fun way to teach rhythm, inspire creativity and help students learn to read notes. It's pretty great. \r\nI've already had some students come up with their own song ideas and look forward to see what they are able to do. \r\nWe will be using these drums in class and for performances. They will get lots of use as I work at three title one elementary schools teaching preK-3rd grade music as well as prek sped music. I will be bringing them to all three schools and also share them with the 4th/5th grade music teacher.
