Your kindness has brought so much excitement, engagement, and fun into our learning. My students absolutely love having the opportunity to use the markers throughout the school day, and they have quickly become one of our favorite classroom supplies.\r\n\r\nEvery year, I find myself running out of Expo markers well before the school year is over. They are something we use constantly, and I often find myself scrambling to find more or asking for donations to keep our classroom stocked. That is why this donation means so much to us. Knowing that we have enough markers to last throughout the entire school year is such a relief and allows me to focus on teaching instead of worrying about running out of an everyday classroom necessity.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest impacts these markers have had is during math. Instead of always working on worksheets or paper, my students get to WRITE ON their desks with the Expo markers! Being able to solve math problems directly on their desks makes learning feel like a fun activity rather than just another assignment. They can show their thinking, draw pictures, work through problems, make corrections, and try again without worrying about making mistakes. They absolutely love getting to write on their desks, and it has made our math lessons much more interactive and engaging.\r\n\r\nThe markers also make quick learning activities much easier. I can give students a problem, question, or challenge and have everyone respond at the same time. This allows me to quickly see who understands the concept and who may need a little extra help. My students are much more excited to participate when they know they get to grab a marker and show what they know!\r\n\r\nSomething as simple as an Expo marker may seem small, but in our classroom, these markers make a BIG difference. We use them for math, reading, games, practice activities, and so many other parts of our day. They help turn everyday lessons into hands-on learning experiences and give my students another way to demonstrate their understanding. They especially love being able to write, erase, change their thinking, and try again. It makes mistakes feel like a normal and important part of learning.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when they received the markers, and they have already put them to great use. Instead of worrying about running out and having to ask for more, we can enjoy using them all year long. Your donation will truly be used every single day and will make an impact throughout the entire school year.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping make our classroom a place where learning is exciting, hands-on, and fun. Your generosity provides us with a resource we use constantly and helps make learning just a little more special for my students. We have had nonstop jumping going on since getting our ropes! They came just in time to use for our music rhythm movement unit. We were also able to use them during our Friday enrichment classes where kids can come to school on Friday (we usually have Friday off) for some extra learning. In this case it was extra fun as kids learned new skills and talents they didn't know they had and were then excited to show their classmates the next week. Even some teachers joined in the fun showing off their jumping skills. It has been so neat seeing kids that may not excel in other things beaming with excitement when they learned to jump. \r\nI've been bringing the ropes to recess as well as there have been lines of kids eager to learn.\r\nWe also started doing double dutch which is brand new to them and all I had to say was jump a steady beat. They knew what that meant and were shocked that they could suddenly do a skill which looked really cool and really hard. \r\nWe used some of our jumpers in a video we made during Music in Our Schools Month jumping to a song we are learning. I showed the video to my classes at other schools and now those kids want to learn to jump Double Dutch too! \r\nIt is fun to see kids playing like I did as a kid and learning musical skills, jumping to the rhythm and beat, singing jump rope rhymes and getting some great physical exercises and coordination skills.
