As a very small rural school in an agricultural community, we strive to provide our students with meaningful opportunities to grow both academically and personally.\r\nOur students are actively involved in sports like basketball, volleyball, football, and track, as well as organizations such as Business Professionals of America and Future Farmers of America. However, until recently, we had little to offer in the fine arts. With your help, we are working to change that.\r\nI am committed to building a strong music foundation for our students—from Kindergarten through Graduation. Music is more than just performance; it is a lifelong companion. Whether it's listening to the radio while working in the fields, singing in a church choir, or starting a country western band, music will always be a part of their lives.\r\nMusic education also enriches every other subject area—connecting science, math, language arts, and history in powerful ways. It supports mental health and gives students a creative outlet to express their emotions and make sense of the world around them.\r\nThe supplies we've received through your support are truly priceless. They allow me to reach students with different learning styles and help them discover their own path to success. Your generosity is helping us open new doors of opportunity and inspire students to reach for higher goals.\r\nThank you for believing in the power of music education.","fullyFundedDate":1752586474585,"projectUrl":"project/music-supplies-for-performance-success/9332858/","projectTitle":"Music Supplies for Performance Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jansen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9709172"},{"teacherId":9738926,"projectId":9235950,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support in helping bring new books like Freak the Mighty into our school. Beyond reading for enjoyment, students are learning how to analyze character development, identify themes, and build their comprehension skills through meaningful discussions and written responses. As the principal, I don't often get to connect with students as much as I would hope. This book allowed me to make connections with kids. \r\n\r\n This book made a significant impact. The large tubing was used as an inquiry activity for momentum. I asked students to create a tube \"roller coaster\" that fulfilled specific requirements including number of hills, loops, etc. This project allows for a great deal of problem solving and creativity. Surprisingly, oftentimes, the top students have the most difficulty with this. It makes them really consider multiple factors for success. My favorite part about the activity was that once a group found success, everyone cheered! It really was a cooperative effort including a great deal of collaboration, but also some competition to see who would be successful in having a marble travel the entire distance first. \r\nI also purchase electrical /magnetic experimental materials. We only just began studying the basics of these, but the students are very excited to use the kits. This was the number one topic they wanted to learn about. I appreciate your help in bringing these fields to life for my students! Our 6 physics students will be sharing the materials with the 15 junior high students and every one of them is excited to test them out!","fullyFundedDate":1727707134377,"projectUrl":"project/physics-learning-can-be-phun/8753275/","projectTitle":"Physics Learning Can Be Phun!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Carpenter","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9738909"},{"teacherId":9709172,"projectId":8725479,"letterContent":"I hope this message finds you well.
