I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations, which have made a significant impact on my 5th-grade classroom. Thanks to your support, we were able to purchase a class set of the book \"Braiding Sweetgrass.\" This beautiful book has opened up a world of discussion for my students as we delve into indigenous cultures and explore our connections to the natural world.\r\n\r\nThe students have been thoroughly engaged with the text, and it has sparked meaningful conversations about the environment and our role within it. It makes it so much easier for me to do what I do every day! Now I can print in color, and I can do it when I need it, rather than sending my printing in to the copy center and having to wait 3-5 days. Since I've gotten the printer, I've been able to let kids print color pictures to enhance their posters for group social studies projects. Previously, only students who had printers at home had access to color printing. Now everyone has access. It has already helped a student remain engaged with our activities so I could get a more accurate understanding of the student's strengths and areas of need. \r\n\r\nA happy moment that stemmed from your generosity was when two 2nd grade students who had met their respective behavior goals (one for attendance and the other for work completion) picked out of the prize box that I recently refilled with materials from this order.
