Your contribution has allowed both my class and my teaching partner's students to embark on a captivating literary journey. Through Roz's adventures, our students actively engaged with key reading comprehension skills, including identifying figurative language, citing text-based evidence, analyzing cause and effect relationships, and exploring central themes. Furthermore, the novel provided a wonderful opportunity for students to expand their vocabulary.\r\n\r\nThe daily ten-minute reading sessions became a wonderful part of our classroom routine, fostering a love for reading and sparking thoughtful discussions. What was particularly rewarding was witnessing how this engaging story resonated with such a diverse group of learners, capturing the imaginations of students from various backgrounds and with a wide range of interests. Your support has not only enriched our curriculum but has also created a shared positive experience for our students, leaving a lasting impact on their literacy development. I cannot even tell you how much my students love these! I will not lie, but I cried with gratitude when they came in! These mean so much! Having this amount is perfect as well. I stack these in the back of my room and kids each period grab one when they need them and then they are replaced back at the end of the period. Each period, I never have any extra wobble seats left. The bean bags are perfect too because they are desk-height! So those kids who just need a little extra, use these ones. \r\n\r\nIn addition, many students need these for their IEPs or their 504s and the school didn't provide these. So when these came in, I also felt better because I am now meeting their accommodations. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for these! Thank you so much!\r\n\r\nTruly, thank you so much for these items. I am so grateful for your donation and your family. When these boxes came in before Christmas break, you completely made my Christmas! This has been a tough year for many families, including mine. Your gifts were the only Christmas presents that this momma needed. My classroom is where I spend so much of my day and I love each and every minute here. But these items, make it even better! Receiving these items has really helped to build a love of reading with my students. I have a lot of children this year who don't love to read! However, by picking and reading these novels that are at their level and fun for them, they are really enjoying reading! When these items arrived, it literally brought tears to my eyes. So many students are beyond struggling today. These are not just those students who are on free and reduced lunch but our every day families that are struggling to just to make ends meet. When my students came in and saw their names with their folders on them and their new colored pens, pencils, and markers they were so excited! \r\n\r\nI was finally able to replace my 10 year old bins with matching ones that made my room sparkle and I will use my label maker to help get everything organized! My students decorated my pencil dispenser and they love that item! So many students didn't have their spiral notebooks and we were able for each students to create their English Magic Notebooks to help them stay organized and have a place where they keep all of their magic English knowledge. :)\r\n\r\nThis week, my students are using their writing skills to create stars and hearts to celebrate our counselors. In addition, I have also created a Plot game where they used the story of Hansel and Gretel to plot map and then play a game similar to spoons. This took over 4 hours to make, but because I have the laminate I am able to use this year after year. In addition, I have found such a fun Central Idea game for this Friday before Super Bowl that we are playing. \r\n\r\nWithout these supplies, my classroom wouldn't be the same!
