Your gift has already begun to enrich our shelves and expand opportunities for students to discover stories that have shaped cultures, ideas, and generations of readers. Access to these timeless works ensures that our students can explore powerful narratives, unforgettable characters, and thought-provoking themes that continue to resonate today.\r\nExposure to classic literature helps students develop critical thinking, empathy, and a deeper understanding of history and human experience. Through these stories, young readers encounter diverse perspectives, complex moral questions, and rich language that strengthens reading comprehension and vocabulary. Classic works also encourage thoughtful discussion and reflection, helping students connect literature to their own lives and to the world around them.\r\nYour generosity has created lasting opportunities for our students to grow as readers and thinkers. By placing these books in their hands, you are opening doors to imagination, curiosity, and lifelong learning. We are deeply grateful for your support and for your investment in the educational journeys of our students.","fullyFundedDate":1764598439747,"projectUrl":"project/restore-the-classics/9594141/","projectTitle":"Restore the Classics","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Houck","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9727491"},{"teacherId":9727491,"projectId":9074301,"letterContent":"Dozens of students visiting the library are super excited about the new Manga titles we've received due to your generosity! Students continue touching base with me in the library as they wait their turn to check out this new selection of books, which gives me an opportunity to suggest other materials as well. All in all, your contribution is putting literature in more students' hands. \r\n\r\nThe book marks, Croc charms, mechanical pencils and Tootsie Pops were much-loved incentives during our spring book fair and helped encourage students to visit the book fair more often, which led to increased book sales and ultimately, our school's ability to purchase a number of new books for our library.\r\n\r\nOur March Madness Tournament of Books is in full swing, and thanks to your donation of the six acrylic sign holders, I am able to display images of the books along with summaries for students to read in order to submit an entry bracket and vote for their favorites.
