While we haven't used all of the materials yet, we have been super excited with the ones we have been using.\r\nEach student has been assigned their own pair of headphones, which has made their Chromebook time and testing time much more effective. The headphones are really nice and will be used by students in my class for years to come!\r\nMy students were super excited to get started on the STEM solar/battery powered kits! We spent a whole afternoon experimenting and putting together the windmills, cars and planes. then we took the cars and planes to our gym to have races!! We can't wait until spring when we can really try out the solar panels.\r\nFor our latest art project we have been working on a painting using the paints and canvases. The flexible seating is something the students go to right away when they get to class in the morning. It allows them to be comfortable and move more freely in the classroom to foster an engaging classroom environment. The students were unbelievably excited when they first saw the materials and couldn't want to try all of the new games and sit in the new cushions!\r\n The board games are a fun way to get the students excited about English Language Arts when a lot of my students struggle with getting into reading. The trivia is a fun end of the day activity to do when we are getting ready to go home. Each of the resources are greatly beneficial to the students and their learning. Ultimately making the learning more fun! We used the model magic clay for art integration during the month of December. We have been learning about the solar system and this was a fun activity to add to this unit. My students were so excited when I pulled out the boxes and showed them what we'd be doing. Student worked in collaborative groups to assemble the planets, gears and stickers correctly. They were animated, passionate and very engaged with the kits. Next, we are looking at the impact humans have on the planet.\r\nThank you for supporting my classroom!
