The students and teachers love it. The students are learning how to use and navigate Google Forms to collect the staff's coffee, tea, or hot chocolate orders. Once the orders are copied on to a prepared label with visual cues instead of words, the students stick the labels on the cup sleeves. Then they get the money bags organized with 4 ones, and 4 quarters in each. Next up is heating up the water, filling the Kuerrig, and organizing the Coffee Cart supplies. Once the labels are put on the cups, then it is time to become barristas! Aprons go on, and the work of making the coffee and teas, and then serving them to staff gets underway. The students knock or wave to the classroom teacher or office staff so as to not disturb their work, they wait until the teacher is ready and then take 50 cents for each cup with tips being very welcomed.\r\nThe students feel very important, and are seen in regular ed classrooms by their peers as important as well. The teachers are getting to know our lifeskills students better. It's a very valuable activity as it teaches our students all about working, communication, money skills and topographical orientation around the school .
