I was able to paint my classroom with whiteboard paint, place tack strips and borders. It looks fantastic! I am very excited for my students to return in a couple of weeks and see how much they enjoy the new work spaces!\r\n\r\nMy students have enjoyed going up to the previous poster white boards that I had to tape up each time we used them. It is so nice to have these permanent places for the kids instead. Students show their work and then we gallery walk around as a class. They get to explain their work and thought process - gaining confidence in their math and presentation skills. They enjoy getting instant feedback and collaborating with other students. Being able to complete problems at the board to lessen the work they will need to do outside of class is a bonus also! \r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I do spend well over a thousand dollars per year on supplies for my class.
