They immediately wanted to dive in and start building, and within minutes our classroom was filled with towers, bridges, and creative structures. The simple design of the blocks has sparked complex thinking—students are learning how balance, stability, and design choices impact their builds, all while collaborating and problem-solving with each other.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite classroom moments so far was during a STEM challenge where students had to build the tallest free-standing tower possible. At first, many towers fell quickly, but instead of giving up, students worked together to figure out how to improve their designs. The cheers that erupted when one group's tower finally stood taller than everyone else's showed just how meaningful these hands-on moments are for them. The KEVA blocks have truly transformed our classroom into a space of exploration and perseverance.\r\n\r\nThe next step for my students is to connect these building experiences to larger engineering concepts, like load-bearing design and prototyping. They are beginning to see how the skills they practice with KEVA blocks testing, redesigning, and thinking creatively and apply directly to real-world engineering challenges.
