We have been busy showcasing new skills, games and concepts in the area of physical activity at our school. The class is designed around games, activities and sports that tailor to small sided, solo and lifetime type activities while also incorporating team and collaborative interpersonal relationships.\r\n\r\nWe began in a week of critical thinking/ team work activities that made students break the ice together and have to work together to accomplish a common goal. Students then moved into golf where we practiced hitting from a tee, chipping and even created their own mini golf courses which they had the opportunity to play! A typically difficult skill or Frisbee throwing became our new task as we learned and played disc golf setup around our campus.\r\n\r\nThe students were introduced to several new to them backyard games and activities of local: such as ladder Golf, washer toss, bags and horseshoes and other countries: such as bocce ball, peteca and Molkky.
