These tooth brushes, deodorant, hair ties, and vaseline for chapped lips have impacted the way they feel about themselves. Your donation has made a meaningful difference in our daily learning. These books introduced my students to important emotional concepts like empathy, kindness, anger, anxiety, and responsibility in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Each story led to classroom discussions where students were able to connect the emotions in the books to their own lives, at school, at home, and in the community.\r\n\r\nReading time became a highlight of our day. My students were especially excited to meet each new \"Little SPOT\" character and pass around the coordinating plush figures. These hands-on visuals helped them identify and name their feelings in a safe and fun way. One student who struggled with frustration started using the \"Anger SPOT\" strategy to calm down, and another often referred to the \"Kindness SPOT\" when helping a friend. Your support has truly transformed our learning environment. The sensory items you provided are now an important part of our daily routine. They've given my students a way to feel more grounded, comfortable, and ready to learn. One student who struggles with staying seated during activities now uses the spinning chair as a way to release energy safely, helping them refocus on their work.\r\n\r\nWhen the items first arrived, my students were so excited! They love using the sensory table and experiencing different textures. The weighted stuffed animals quickly became a favorite for students who needed extra comfort during transitions or challenging moments. These resources have not only helped my students self-regulate their emotions but also boosted their confidence in navigating their day. I've already noticed improvements in focus, engagement, and overall classroom harmony.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we'll continue incorporating these tools into both group activities and individualized plans for students with specific sensory needs.
