Your support means far more than just providing physical items—it represents an investment in the education, creativity, and future of each student who walks through our door. The supplies you helped provide will be used every single day, becoming the tools that allow my students to explore new ideas, practice essential skills, and discover their unique talents. \r\nYour generosity doesn't just fill shelves; it fills hearts. For many of my students, school is the one place where they feel safe, supported, and capable. Having the right supplies ensures that no student feels left behind or unable to participate because they lack basic materials. The impact of your kindness will be felt in small, everyday ways—a student confidently starting an assignment because they have the right tools, a group collaborating over a hands-on project, or a shy child finding their voice through creative expression. These moments may seem simple, but they are the foundation of meaningful learning experiences. By giving to our classroom, you have given my students a sense of belonging, pride, and possibility.\r\n\r\nI am deeply thankful for your willingness to invest in these young learners. Your contribution helps bridge the gap between what we have and what we dream of achieving. It allows me as an educator to focus on creating engaging, hands-on lessons without worrying that lack of resources will hold my students back. Every pencil, marker, binder, and supply you have helped fund will become part of a bigger story—one of growth, perseverance, and achievement. Please know that your generosity will echo far beyond this school year; it will leave an imprint on the hearts and minds of my students for years to come. On behalf of our entire class, thank you for being a part of our learning journey and for helping us make our classroom not just a place where education happens, but a place where every student feels supported, valued, and ready to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1749159090300,"projectUrl":"project/stem-with-health/9372827/","projectTitle":"STEM with Health","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Howarth","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10041432"},{"teacherId":7830598,"projectId":8336585,"letterContent":"Thanks to the generous support from DonorsChoose, our physical education classes are now equipped with brand-new kickballs, footballs, dodgeballs, frisbees, and soccer balls. These resources have brought new life to our PE program by allowing us to run a wider variety of games and skill-building activities. One highlight has been our \"game rotation\" days, where students move between different stations—playing mini-games of soccer, ultimate frisbee, and kickball. This variety keeps them active and engaged while helping them develop teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new equipment, their excitement was immediate and contagious. Many of them ran over to pick up the footballs and frisbees, tossing them around before class even started. It felt like Christmas morning in the gym! Several students mentioned how nice it was to have enough equipment for everyone to participate at the same time without waiting their turn. The energy that day—and every day since—has been incredibly positive.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're using these resources to deepen students' understanding of game strategies, rules, and roles through modified team sports and skill challenges. We're also starting a friendly class tournament series where students will play in short-sided games and track their teamwork and progress over time. Because of our donors, my students have the tools they need to stay active, learn through play, and build a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. I can't thank our supporters enough for helping create such a fun and meaningful experience in our gym.","fullyFundedDate":1714662360615,"projectUrl":"project/middle-school-pe-sports-equipment/8336585/","projectTitle":"Middle School PE Sports Equipment","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Barnes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7830598_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1683921974514","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7830598"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_78188","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":511,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":54,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":90,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"12.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":66.5,"schoolId":78188,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Nevada Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Nevada Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/missouri/nevada-r-v-school-district/nevada-middle-school/78188"}
