Students are eagerly checking out books about animals, space, technology, weather, and more. These materials are not only supporting classroom learning, but also encouraging independent inquiry and a love of reading for information.\r\n\r\nYour donation has had an immediate and visible impact. For many of our students, these books provide access to topics they may not otherwise encounter, opening doors to new interests and future possibilities.\r\n\r\nWe have already seen students become more excited about visiting the library, sharing new facts with classmates, and developing confidence as learners. Your generosity is helping us create a space where curiosity is celebrated and every student has the opportunity to grow.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and for supporting literacy, learning, and exploration at our school. Because of you, our students now begin each morning with hands-on, engaging activities that spark curiosity and build confidence right away. One of our favorite moments so far has been during our morning problem-solving stations, where students work together using math manipulatives and challenge cards to explain their thinking. I watched a student who is usually very quiet confidently lead her group through a strategy and encourage others when they felt stuck. These new resources have truly transformed our mornings into a meaningful time of collaboration, creativity, and joyful learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, the room filled with excitement and wide smiles. They immediately asked, \"Do we get to use all of this?\" and could not wait to explore each activity. Several students carefully opened the bins and began talking about which station they hoped to try first. For many of my students, learning tools like these are not something they have regular access to, so being able to touch, build, sort, and solve with real materials made the experience feel special and important. Your gift helped them feel valued and motivated from the very start of the day.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our next steps will focus on using these activities to strengthen our current lessons in problem solving, reading skills, and teamwork. Students will rotate through targeted morning stations that connect directly to upcoming classroom projects, including small-group reading challenges and math reasoning tasks that prepare them for longer projects later in the week. Your generosity has given my students a strong and positive start to each school day, and it allows me to meet their learning needs in ways that truly make a difference. Thank you for giving us a meaningful glimpse of your kindness and for investing in our classroom and our future learners.","fullyFundedDate":1757104919968,"projectUrl":"project/bright-beginnings-a-calm-start-for-come/9477660/","projectTitle":"Bright Beginnings: A Calm Start for Comet Kids","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Price","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6520734_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752846083860","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6520734"},{"teacherId":9684411,"projectId":9463263,"letterContent":"As we have entered the holiday season, the donations provided to my classroom and students have been most beneficial. We just had our multiplication facts reward party. Students who completed all their facts were able to recieve a full size candy bar thanks to your donations. In years past this is an expense that came straight out of my own wallet. \r\nYour donations were also able to help me give each student in my homeroom a Christmas gift. Working in a title 1 district with a large number of low income families, you never know what a student may receive for Christmas at home. Thanks to your donations, students were able to receive a Christmas cup (which was later filled with hot chocolate), a Christmas notebook and pen, and a Christmas squishy toy. My students were very excited to see their gifts sitting on their desks that morning.\r\nLastly, candy donations have been used throughout the year as rewards and for birthday goodies. Again, this has always been an expense that has come out of my own wallet. It has been a wonderful change to already have these items ready to go when I need them.
