With this project we received enough chair cushions for each student to have one to use while in the classroom.\r\n\r\nAlthough we typically take breaks often to get our bodies moving, there are times that require us to stay seated for longer periods of time, especially during testing - the cushions allow for more comfort to students while we have to sit during these times. With the resources we received, Owl Pellets, we were able to make sure every student in 5th grade was able to participate in the hands on activity of dissecting the owl pellets. This fun, engaging activity supported our lesson of learning about the digestive system and how it functions and operates. \r\n\r\nOnce the owl pellets arrived, you can imagine the disgusted look on the kids faces, mostly because they thought it was \"owl poop\". Once we opened them and began to dissect them and they discovered all of the little bones and remains, they were so excited to see what their peers discovered.
