The students have been eagerly using the new resources every day. One of the most meaningful moments happened during our first lesson with the materials. As soon as the students walked in and saw the new equipment laid out, their faces lit up—they were excited, surprised, and genuinely grateful. Several students immediately began sharing ideas for how they wanted to use the items, and many of them asked thoughtful questions that showed just how meaningful this was to them.\r\n\r\nWe are already putting these resources to work in hands-on lessons that encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and confidence building. For example, we recently began a group project where students worked in teams to create and demonstrate new movement routines and game strategies. The new equipment allowed every student to participate at the same time—no one was left waiting or sitting out. This has made a huge difference in engagement and motivation.\r\n\r\nWe are also using these resources to help students learn activities they can continue outside of school. Our goal is to teach them fun, meaningful ways to stay active at home, at the park, or in their own backyard. The students are already talking about how they can show their families the new games they've learned and play them together.\r\n\r\nOur next step is introducing student-led activities where groups design their own games and teach them to the class. This not only builds leadership and communication skills but also strengthens their ability to be active, creative, and confident beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has directly impacted our students' confidence, joy, and excitement for learning—and staying active. Thank you for making this possible.
