I have 3 and 4 years old this year. We work on a lot of things throughout the year but one of the biggest areas is play and social/emotional skills. \r\n\r\nThe playsets have really helped broaden my students imagination. They love the Melissa and Doug town blocks the best because it allows them to see all the buildings that we have in our town. We have little people who are dressed as different professions also. They like to match what little people goes to which building. \r\n\r\nAll of the books have been a huge hit! They are colorful and written in a way that it keeps my students attention through the whole book. We will do art projects/crafts along with some of the books as we go through the year. \r\n\r\nAll of these donations have been greatly appreciated. Every time there are new items in the room, they get so excited and want to play with everything at one time. The growth that I have seen in my students already this year has been so high and I have your generous donations to thank for that.","fullyFundedDate":1778262154547,"projectUrl":"project/learning-through-play-in-our-preschool-s/10132539/","projectTitle":"Learning Through Play in Our Preschool Special Ed Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hamlet","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2661852_orig.jpg?crop=1751,1751,x2863,y930&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1778797533056","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2661852"},{"teacherId":1906917,"projectId":9579064,"letterContent":"Our class would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of snacks. Your kindness means so much to our students and has made a noticeable difference in our classroom each day.\r\n\r\nMany of our students come from low-income families and receive special education services. For some, it may be the only snack they receive that day, and your donation ensures that no child has to go hungry or struggle to concentrate because of an empty stomach.\r\n\r\nYour support goes beyond food — it helps create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student feels cared for and valued.
