They use the globes to model day and night, explain why seasons change, and explore how Earth interacts with the Sun and Moon. These abstract science concepts suddenly became real, visible, and understandable.\r\n\r\nThe student globes have been especially powerful during small-group activities and science centers. Students work together, discuss observations, and confidently explain their thinking using the globes as models. The large classroom globe allows all students to clearly see demonstrations during lessons, helping every learner stay engaged and connected.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your support has sparked curiosity. I hear students asking deeper questions, making connections across science and geography, and showing excitement about learning that goes beyond the classroom. These globes will be used year after year, impacting hundreds of students and building a strong foundation in Earth and space science.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their education. The students have LOVED working on solving the mystery that is presented in this book!\r\n\r\nThe book presents a mystery of an elephant who has invited a group of 11 guests to his 11th birthday party. However, during the party one of the guests steals the birthday feast! It is our job as the reader to look for clues and codes throughout each of the very detailed illustrations to try to figure out who stole the feast. \r\n\r\nI used this book with my students at the end of the year when most students were \"done thinking\". However, this book totally engaged my students and they forgot they were even \"doing work\". They even asked to come back in their free time to continue working on it! It was so nice to see them fully engaged in the story, examining details closely and working together to discuss possibilities! All of this engagement without a single screen or single bit of technology!\r\n\r\nIt was a breath of fresh air to see them using their brains like this even at the end of the year!
